Established in 1988, Anhui Wanbei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is the national high-tech enterprises, the Antibiotic drug production base of API and also the first FDA-certified pharmaceutical company in Anhui Province. We have a strong manufacturing capacity and multi-agent production lines in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) (both medical and veterinary uses), injection, tablets, granules, capsules and etc., which all have passed GMP certification.
Wanbei has total assets of RMB 305 million, with a plant occupying a total area of more than 220,000 m2 in Anhui Province. We have a well-designed organization structure, a talented management team and efficient sales networks. Wanbei’s business presence in China has spread through over 50 cities nationwide with a total staff of nearly 1,000. We also own a leading provincial enterprise technology center.
Mainly based on R&D and production of the microbial medicine, and the key production of API for Lincomycin hydrochloride, Wanbei has successfully launched many derivatives of Lincomycin hydrochloride such as Clindamycin hydrochloride and Clindamycin phosphate, and successfully developed polypeptide antibiotics --- the Nosiheptide premix. Our main product, Lincomycin hydrochloride API, has gained the rewards of “Anhui Province famous-brand product”, “Anhui Province high-tech product”, and “The first prize for outstanding high-tech products in Anhui Province”. It is worth to note that “Wanbei” is a famous brand name in Anhui Provice.
Along with scientific and technological progress, and gradual expansion of production scale, Wanbei has gained substantial market shares in China. A good reputation has been established with the help of disciplined management and high-quality products in the past few decades. On this basis, Wanbei fully exert its export advantages and further develop the international market. Lincomycin Hydrochloride bulk drug, one of our key products, has obtained more than 30% market share in the sales within the same class in China, and it has also been sold to Europe, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia markets and etc. It has passed the United States FDA certification, and other international certifications have been launched or are also under way.
